Your Cafitesse Excellence Compact Black gives displays fault code 17 (small leakage). The water valve is probably leaking, sometimes it has not been fitted quite correctly. This fault only appears if your coffee machine machine is connected to the water supply. You can't fix this yourself, unfortunately, but you can prevent the situation from getting worse.
