Error 17 (small leakage)
Minor water system malfunction.
Your Cafitesse Excellence Compact displays fault code 17 (small leakage). The water valve is probably leaking, sometimes it has not been fitted quite correctly. This fault only appears if your coffee machine machine is connected to the water supply.

Step 1
Open the refrigerator door
Check for water leaking from the front. If so, restarting your coffee machine may help. If not, contact the service department. The details can be found below.
Step 2
Restart your coffee machine
On the left side of the refrigerator door is the standby button. To restart the Cafitesse Excellence Compact, press it and hold for 5 seconds. You will hear a beep and the display will show "reset". Then close the refrigerator door and check if the leakage is still there.
